What is LEED?

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a globally recognised certification system for sustainable buildings and districts. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED provides a clear framework for designing, constructing and operating buildings that meet high standards of environmental performance, resource efficiency and occupant wellbeing. It is one of the most widely adopted sustainability rating systems worldwide, used by developers, governments, universities and major corporations.
